Internet

Ahhh, Internet. You can lose yourself there. I think you can always find a better seller somewhere, if you’re willing to spend the time... For all of you who are scared, who don’t dare buy on-line, do-it ! I’ve never had any bad luck.

I’ll give few sources, mainly the ones I use (there are lots of places with better prices, but they don’t ship outside of the US!):

  • Fire Mountain Gems
They have tons of stuff, at a reasonable price (they have an assortability rule, so you can combine any items and after 15, 50 or 200 items you get price breaks). The prices for Swarovski bicones are good (not so for the Swarovski pearls however) and they have almost everything you need. Excellent service.
  • ArtBeads
Very good prices for the Swarovski pearls, not bad for the bicones. There are no minimum amounts for items so you take exactly what you need. The more you take the cheaper it is (per item. You can’t combine items like FMG). Free shipping in the US, 1$ in Canada. Very good service.
  • Bricolart
For items that are harder to find in North America, like filigrees, settings, books in french...
  • eBay
There’s good and bad on eBay. Don’t be fooled by the timer ! All prices are not good, so do your reserch first. I don’t buy a lot on eBay, but you can find good deals. Here are a few sellers :
    • Zonegocom
Bicones at a decent price, not a wide choice of colors, but interesting nonetheless. Fast delivery.
    • Beading in the rain
    • Annekaye
I haven’t bought anything from either one, but they both have some nice Swarovski rivolis and other treasures, vintage and not. Shipping prices are fairly pricey, but I thing it can be worth it.
We pay for shipping costs.
